We were born and grew up in the Fiemme Valley, among the fir forests and the Dolomites. This valley is not just a tourist destination: it is the place we know in every nuance, where every path and every refuge tell a story.

At the Hotel Villa Jolanda in Ziano di Fiemme, we like to recommend authentic experiences to our guests, to help them experience the mountain how we experience it. In summer, among green pastures and alpine lakes, and in winter, on perfectly snow-covered slopes or in silent woods, the Fiemme Valley always has something special to offer.

Events and traditions of Fiemme

In September, the Desmontegada de le Vache (cows) in Predazzo and Caore (goats) in Cavalese are authentic events not to be missed, with the return of the cows and goats from mountain pastures, complete with music and local flavours.

Cross-country skiing and the 2026 Olympics

The Fiemme Valley is one of the temples of Nordic skiing and will host the cross-country skiing and Nordic combined competitions at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. If you love cross-country skiing, try the Marcialonga course, which welcomes athletes from all over the world every year.

Sledging for adults and children

In Ziano di Fiemme, near the hotel, there is a perfect track for little ones. In Alpe Lusia, however, there is a 2,100-metre track between snowy woods, curves and bumps, suitable for everyone, from beginners to experts.
